Cas Kruitwagen

Cas teaches mostly in the MSc program Epidemiology and in the (Dutch language) pre-master and master program Clinical Health Sciences, but is also involved in statistics courses in several other programs, as well as the extra-curricular course Introductory Biostatistics for Researchers [link:]. He is a member of the exam committee of Clinical Health Sciences.

Cas studied Mathematics (specialization: Applied Probabilistic) at Utrecht University and joined its Center for Biostatistics in 1991. When the Center became part of the Julius Center, he came to work for the UMC Utrecht in 2006. After coordinating the biostatistics education team for more than 10 years he again became one of the regular staff to pursue his passion: teaching statistics to bachelor-, master- and post-graduate students.

Cas likes to read, play tennis and he plays slide trombone in two different bands.
