Marga primarily teaches in the Biomedical Sciences program and the Medicine program. She also collaborates with colleagues in teaching several other courses such as Introductory Biostatistics for Researchers. Marga is also involved in statistical consultations.

After completing her studies in Human Movement Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), she first worked in mental health care as a psychomotor therapist. She then did scientific research in Social Gerontology at the VU. Thereafter, she started teaching methods and statistics at the VU and later at the University of Amsterdam. In 2023 she joined the biostatistics education team at UMC Utrecht.
